Full description

Aviator is a strategic airline management game currently in development, built in the spirit of classical strategy games. Beginning around the dawn of the Jet Age, players choose a home city and build an airline empire one aircraft and one route at a time. Buy planes suited to new opportunities, retire ageing airframes, connect ambitious cities, and balance business and tourism demand against slot prices, fuel costs, maintenance, and quarterly finances. Rival airlines pursue their own strategies and expansion plans, turning each market into a contest for passengers, prestige, and position. As aviation history progresses from regional prop planes through early jets, long-haul workhorses, and beyond, fleet decisions change with it. The result is a deliberate, systems-led management game about reading the market, taking calculated risks, and keeping a growing airline aloft as the world moves toward the future.

Hybrid 3D Globe & Strategy Board

Morph smoothly between a 3D spinning globe and a flat tabletop strategy board. Inspect regional hubs up close or pan out to view your entire global aviation empire.

Living Economy & Shifting Markets

City opportunities react dynamically to available slots, slot pricing, growth, business demand, and tourism. Manage fuel volatility, route maintenance, and quarterly balance sheets.

Distinct Rival AI Strategies

Compete against rival airlines with unique identities, strategy profiles, cash piles, and expansion motives — from low-cost budget carriers to prestigious flag lines.

Planned Shared-Play Functionality

Local multiplayer and a smart moderator are planned ideas we aim to explore during Early Access. They are not currently available, and their scope may evolve during development.

Spiritual Homage to Classic Strategy

Inspired by classic 1990s airline strategy games such as Aerobiz Supersonic (SNES, 1993), built as a modern spiritual successor with deeper simulation and contemporary visual design.
