Aviator: Airline Empire launches in Steam Early Access on November 12, 2026. The announcement also gives a first look at the game’s launch lineup and the updates currently planned for the months ahead.
What you can play at launch
The Early Access release is planned to include:
- Flight School and three historical scenarios covering 1950–1990.
- Open Skies, a sandbox where you can choose an era, set up AI rivals, and build an airline across more than 120 cities.
- Local hot-seat multiplayer for two to four players sharing one computer.
- Turn-based airline management: grow a fleet, open routes, and compete with rival carriers.
The Early Access roadmap
The current plan is to add two large scenarios in December 2026, alongside improvements to multiplayer and Open Skies. A second planned update in February 2027 would add two more large scenarios and extend the game’s timeline to 1950–2047. Version 1.0 timing and details have not been announced.
These milestones are development targets. Player feedback during Early Access will help shape the work, and plans may evolve as development continues.
